Permalink for this paragraph 0 An old woman came marching along the high road. She spots a young boy wearing stone-washed jeans and a graphic t-shirt, beneath an apple tree.
Permalink for this paragraph 0 She dragged her tennis ball walked along the concrete sidewalk, when all of a sudden a tennis ball pops off and hits the young boy in the toe after rolling along.

Permalink for this paragraph 0 She mumbles, “Thank you,” awkwardly.

I am really glad you guys ran with this idea for your fairytale. It’s so different than what is normally expected of a fairytale that it causes the me to think more critically about it and what it means. It’s a great note on how simplicity should not be overlooked.
